It's the time again...

As the caravan of wimbledon is moving ahead, speculations are getting intensified for this year's mens title. Federer, who hasn't lost a single match on grass court after 2002, will be preparing for the third final showdown against his closest rival Rafael Nadal who has never tasted the victory at all England club and looks pretty determined to do so.

Being a Nadal supporter, it has been a marvelous year watching his game improving day by day. The drop shots, which he never used to use and instead was relying on his curvy forehands, and a bouncing serve are two predominant areas where he has improved from his last year counter at wimbledon. Having won the first grass title this year he looks quite thirsty for a more prestigious grass court title. Defeating Fed-Ex in three straight sets at french open would have given him the mental advantage which he never requires!! This merciless spainiard hasn't shown any pity to any of the opponent till now and has only lost a single set against the promising young kid Gulbis. The last battle at wimbledon final was well fought by both federer and nadal and it went to five sets where finally federer continued his grass rally and came out a winner. But looking at the current form of nadal it looks he can stop this rally this time and add the first wimbledon title to his name.

At the other end, King Federer has had a quite mild year where he lost to Djokovic in the semis at the australian grandslam and lost to Nadal in the final at the French open. He changed is style at french open but nadal was way ahead of him in all the areas and eventually proved who is the champ when it comes to clay!! However, one can never underestimate the emperor at wimbledon where he is poised to win the sixth consecutive wimbledon title which itself is a higest achievement one can ever get. He hasn't lost a single set till semifinal which shows that he still has many things to show to this world.

Federer has dominated the grass court for the last six years but can Nadal outmuscle him with his never-say-die temperament and some immaculate serve and vallies will be decided on this sunday 6th of June if both of them clear thier semi final opponents (which surely they are going to do). But one thing is sure that the grand finale is going to be a real BLAST.
